Nigerian Dance-hall singer, Burna Boy, has just politely avoided
what would have been an issue on social media between him and
fellow singer Patoranking after a fan had made comparism between
them.
The singer, while promoting his sophomore LP using the hashtag
‘OAS,’ was not happy with the comparism that was put up and had
to describe it ‘ultimately disrespectful.’
The fan fan with the handle, ‘Omo Jesu’ had asked “Burna Boy and
Patoranking, who do you prefer” but Burna Boy who felt
embarrassed by the question replied, “Personally I find this type of
shit ultimately disrespectful but, Naija will be Naija.
Rather than let the argument go, Omo Jesu still came for the singer
when he popped up another question to the singer, “You must find
being nominated with other artists for awards also ‘ultimately
disrespectful’. Quit being cocky.”
Yet Burna, who sure has his fans time replied by making him know
that he is just a shallow minded fellow. “Cocky? (laughs) I don't
blame you. You are obviously very shallow minded.”
