(5a) Sale promotion may be defined as methods which last for specified period adopted by manufacturers aimed at bringing the existence of goods or introduction of new ones to the knowledge of consumers and to boost sales

ii. Product: In marketing , a product is anything that can be offered to a market that might satisfy a want or need.

iii. Promotion: Promotion refers to raising customer awareness of a product or brand, generating sales, and creating brand loyalty.

iv. Place: Place in the marketing mix refers to the channel, or the route, through which goods move from the source to the final user. Place could be the intermediaries, distributors, wholesalers and retailers.
