Mrs. Obiano says the projects will not only end open
defecation method that generates diseases but will in
no small measure promote hygiene, healthy and
conducive environment especially for women to

She used the opportunity to condemn a reported
incidence of extortion from helpless women in the
market, by touts against the state revenue collection
procedures and laws, warning mothers to advice their
wards to desist from such acts as the law will catch
up with them.
The Member representing Dunukofia Constituency in
the State House of Assembly, Lawrence Ezeudu, and
the Traditional Ruler of Nteje, Igwe Roland Odegbo,
all lauded the effort of the wife of the governor for
impacting positively on the lives of the people.
Mrs. Obiano also assured the people that in spite of
dwindling resources, the present administration is
committed to the development of Anambra, create
enabling environment for investment and provide
women with opportunities to survive against all odds.
