Ms Bodega is a NewYorker
of Israeli descent and an International Afrobeat
singer. She is also a singer, producer and founder
of Bodega World Music .
Bodega recently collaborated with dance hall
crooner, Timaya in a tune tittled Watta.

Watta is an Afrobeat song which is gradually
getting airplay on airwaves. The song according to
Ms Bodega was inspired by the late Fela’s ‘Water
no get enemy’.
From Wizkid to Davido, more artistes are gradually
embracing the Afrobeat genre because of its rich
melody and African percussion.
On how the Afrobeat legend, Fela inspires her, Ms
Bodega said:
“The love and respect I have for Fela triggered my
interest in making an Afrobeat song. Fela is known
all over the world for Afrobeat and it is only good
for me to honour him with this song”
The video of Watta was shot in Nigeria by
Unlimited L.A .
