Marcus Samuelsson, an Ethiopian born chef. The legendary chef has even cooked for the President of United States, Barack Obama. Marcus is also an entrepreneur, owning one of the finest restaurants in New York (USA) Red Rooster and in addition has a couple of food festivals in the US.

The Swedish raised superstar chef is also an award-winning cookbook author with titles in both English and Swedish.

The 45 year old has won many awards apart from being the youngest chef ever to receive a three-star restaurant review from The New York Times. Marcus also appears on television such as master chef and food network’s chopped and iron chef among others.

Samuelsson married model Gate (Maya) Haile in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia but they live in the US.
