Meet The Young Boy Who Crawls To School After Losing His Legs In A Car Accident.. Photos

Meet the young boy who had his legs amputated after a car accident in the summer 2012 and crawls to school everyday.. Gao Zhiyu has been out of school for four years after being hit by a car during the summer break. His father made Gao 'new legs' from wood allowing him to rejoin his class in Jimo City, eastern China. 


According to the school, Gao's hard work means he now ranks in the top 5 percent of his class. 

People have been discussing the boy's story on social media site Weibo with people saying that Gao is inspirational. While others shared their concern over the boy's legs.
