A source close to Wizkid said:
“There’s something big coming up for Wizkid, and it
happened while he was in America. The deal will be the
biggest ever signed by an African, and signifies progress
for the music business on the continent,”
The new deal would capitalize on the huge success of
“One Dance,” the major airplay of hits like “ Ojuelegba”
and “Final (Baba Nla),” as well as other collaborations
with Drake, Skepta , Tinie Tempah , and many more.
It should be noted that Wizkid has not released a solo
single in all of 2016.
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage
name Wizkid, is a Nigerian recording artist and
performer. He started his musical career at age 11,
releasing a collaborative album with Glorious Five
entitled Lil Prinz.
