Santa Claus, also known as Father Christmas, or simply Santa, is a legendary figure of Western culture.
He is said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved children on Christmas Eve (24 December) and the early morning hours of Christmas Day (25 December) and he’s white or as the pictures depict him.
We tried to imagine what would happen if Santa was black and actually Nigerian and here’s what we thought of:
1. He’ll probably go around with a cane in his hands
Because even if the bad kids won’t get gifts, they gonna get some good lashing.
2. The gifts are going to come on the 1st of January
As per delays and all what not that comes with Nigeria
3. You’ll have to pay him to come see your child
Because money for hand, Santa for house.
4. He’ll actually embezzle everything before it gets to you
You’ll end up with the isale pot likely.
5. Because there are no chimneys, he’ll have to scale fence
And what a sight it’ll be.
6. You’ll get to see him when he drops the gifts
He’s supposed to drop it off at night but no light so morning.
7. He’ll come without his reindeer
They’re likely scared of the generator sounds.
8. He’ll probably be trekking too
Before police will ask for sleigh particulars!
9. His cloth will not fit him.
Because of recession. Gatts manage.
10. He would have honestly retired
Because he can’t move with his reindeer and he’s too tired to trek, Nigerian traffic will do the worst.
