In the initial video, Campbell says: "43 years old today. Yes, Sol Campbell. Got to get it right though because some people thought I was 44 for some strange reason, no I'm definitely 43.However the former England international took the video down minutes later and replaced it with another from his car where he didn't mention his age at all.
"Thank you for all your kind messages around the world, deeply touched by that, really appreciate that and my family does as well.
"Hopefully I'm like a fine wine and get better with age, one year older, one year wiser, as the old saying goes."
