Posted by It will be good news for the Nigeria senior team after Libya coach, Adel Amrouche stepped down from his position just a few days before the two teams clash in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo.
Amrouche's resignation may have come as a surprise considering the fact that the North African are top of the group table with four points.
His departure was confirmed by the Libyan Football Federation and on Wednesday by Belgian Amrouche, who told Reuters he was frustrated by working conditions with the team.
The Super Eagles are expected to face Libya on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium before the reverse fixture three days later in Tunisia.
