Here's the roundup of today's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers...
Libya 2 - 3 Nigeria

Nigeria overcame Libya 3-2 in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification in Group E match at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri in Tunisia on Tuesday.

Odion Ighalo and Ahmed Musa gave Nigeria a 2-0 lead, before Mohamed Zubya and Ahmed Benali equalized for the Mediterranean Knights.

Ighalo however struck again in the dying minutes, to ensure the Eagles got all three points.

Nigeria now have nine points from four fixtures, while South Africa are in second place with eight points.

Libya have four points and Seychelles are on one point.

Seychelles 0 - 0 South Africa

Seychelles held South Africa 0-0 draw in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group E match at the Stade Linite in Victoria.

Niger 1 - 2 Tunisia

Tunisia have joined hosts Cameroon and Madagascar in booking their place at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, following a 2-1 win over Niger at the Stade Général Seyni Kountché in Niamey.

Firas Chaouat bagged a quick-fire brace for the Tunisians who raced into a 2-0 lead. Niger, though, hit back through Youssef Oumarou who took full advantage following a lapse of concentration in defence, but it was the Tunisians who claimed all three points on their travels.

The Carthage Eagles victory duly also sealed Group J rivals Egypt's place at next year's showpiece in Cameroon.

Victory moves Tunisia up to a maximum tally of 12 points form four matches having won all of their qualifiers thus far.

They sit three points clear of their North African rivals in the group, with the two nations set to lock horns in what is essentially a dead-rubber affair next month.

Eswatini 0 - 2 Egypt

Egypt officially qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations ‘AFCON’ in Cameroon after defeating eSwatini (formerly known as Swaziland) 2-0 at the Mavuso Sports Centre thanks to goals from Ahmed Hegazy and Marwan Mohsen.

Tunisia qualification ticket helped to Egypt qualify as well.

The Pharaohs secured second place after collecting nine points two rounds before the end of the qualifiers.

Tunisia are currently leading the Group J with 12 points after four victories.  Both eSwatini and Niger only claimed one point after four rounds which means that it will be impossible for them to catch Egypt or Tunisia and qualify for the 2019 AFCON.

Namibia 1 - 0 Mozambique

Namibia have struck a crucial blow in Group K of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after they defeated Mozambique 1-0 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek thanks to a goal from Peter Shalulile.

The result sees the Brave Warriors (who defeated their fellow Southern Africans 2-1 in Maputo last weekend) join group leaders Guinea-Bissau on seven points, with the pair now three points clear of the Mambas and Zambia in third and fourth place respectively.

Rwanda 1 - 1 Guinea

Rwanda scored late in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Group H match to draw 1-1 with Guinea at the Stade Régional de Nyamirambo in Kigali.

The visitors opened the scoring just after the hour mark courtesy of a goal from Jose Kante, before Rwanda pushed forward and found an equaliser in the 79th minute thanks to a strike from Jacques Tuyisenge.

The draw was Rwanda’s first point in their qualifying campaign while the result for Guinea means they are assured of qualification to next year’s AFCON in Cameroon.

Central African Republic 0 - 0 Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast will have to wait until next month to secure qualification for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after they were held 0-0 by Central African Republic at the Barthelemy Boganda Stadium in Bangui.

The result leaves the Elephants in second place on the Group H standings with seven points, while the Wild Beasts are third with four points.

Guinea top the log with 10 points and Rwanda are bottom with one point.

Madagascar 1 - 0 Equatorial Guinea

Madagascar have qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after they defeated Equatorial Guinea 1-0 at the Vontovorona Stadium in Antananarivo.

Njiva Rakotoharimalala struck the decisive goal late in the second half and Barea were able to hold out for the victory, thus guaranteeing them a place in the 2019 finals in Cameroon next year – a landmark achievement for Malagasay football.

Sudan 0 - 1 Senegal

Senegal also have secured early qualification for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after they defeated hosts Sudan 1-0 at the Khartoum Stadium.

The Teranga Lions had crushed the Falcons of Jediane 3-0 in Dakar on Saturday and completing a ‘double’ with victory in North-East Africa has ensured they will head to Cameroon next year for a 15th appearance at the AFCON finals.

The result took Senegal to the top of Group A with 10 points – they are level with second place Madagascar, and both teams qualify for AFCON 2019 with two rounds of group stage matches to spare.

Malawi 0 - 0 Cameroon

Malawi drew 0-0 with Cameroon in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group B at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

As a result, the Flames remained third on the group standings, while the Indomitable Lions also remained at the top of the table.
Comoros 2 - 2 Morocco

Comoros held Morocco to a 2-2 draw in the 2019 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualification in the other Group B match at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh in Mitsamiouli.

El Fardou Ben Nabouhane was the man, who beat Morocco goalkeeper Munir El-Kajoui to make it 1-0 to Comoros early in the first half, but the second half was dominated by the visitors and they managed to level matters eight minutes thanks to a goal from Khalid Boutaib. Then in the 62nd minute,  Nordin Amrabat scored to make it 2-1 to Morocco.

The hosts then pushed for a late equalizing goal and they managed to score through their star forward Ben Nabouhane.  And the forward scored in stoppage time to ensure that Comoros drew 2-2 with Morocco.

The draw saw Les Coelacantes and the Atlas Lions remain third, and second respectively on the group standings.

Burundi 1 - 1 Mali

Burundi drew 1-1 with Mali in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group C match at the Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium in Burundi's capital city, Bujumbura.

The deadlock was broken 18 minutes into the game and it was the home side, who took the lead thanks to a goal from Fiston Abdul Razak. But Mamadou Fofana was the man, who grabbed a late goal to ensure that Mali drew 1-1 with Burundi on the day.

The draw saw the Swallows remain third on the group standings, while the Eagles also remained at the top of the table.

South Sudan 0 - 1 Gabon

South Sudan’s chances of qualifying for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations came crashing down after losing 1-0 to Gabon in a Group C match at the Juba Stadium thanks to a 48th minute goal from Andre Biyogo Poko.

It has been four losses from four matches for South Sudan who sit bottom of their qualifying group with zero points and two matches to play.

The win for Gabon takes them up second in Group C on six points alongside Burundi but with a superior goal difference. Mali top the standings with eight points.

Benin 1 - 0 Algeria

A ten-man Benin blew Group D of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign wide open after registering a slender 1-0 win over Algeria at the Stade de l'Amitié in Cotonou.

Benin started really positively and opened the scoring in the 16th minute courtesy of a well-taken goal by Sessi D'Almeida. But ten minutes into the second half Benin suffered a massive set-back when they were reduced to ten men following the sending off of Stephane Sessegnon.

However, the match ended 1-0 in favour of Benin who picked up their second win in Group D as they moved joint on seven points with Algeria.

Gambia 0 - 1 Togo

in the other Group D game, Floyd Ayité scored a stoppage-time winner for Togo who beat Gambia 1-0 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier clash in Bakau.

The Fulham attacker found the back of the net in the 92nd minute to silence the home fans, and duly reignite their hopes of reaching next year's showpiece in Cameroon.

Victory moves Togo up to five points from four qualifiers and only two points behind Group D rivals Algeria and Benin.

Zimbabwe 1 - 1 DR Congo

Zimbabwe maintained their spot at the top of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group with a 1-1 draw against the DRC at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.

The home side opened the scoring two minutes into the tie with Khama Billiat finding the back of the net with a clinical finish.

DRC pushed hard and they were rewarded for their efforts when Teenage Hadebe turned the ball into his own net to level matters in the 24th minute.

Liberia 2 - 1 Congo

Liberia beat Congo 2-1 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Monrovia to duly keep their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations hopes alive.

The Lone Stars were in desperate need of a win following a three game winless run in the qualifiers and got just that, with a hard fought victory in the Liberian capital.

Liberia hit the front as early as the eighth minute through Teah Dennis. William Jebor doubled the hosts lead six minutes later to send the fans into absolute delirium as they looked well on course for all three points.

Congo, though, put those hopes in doubt as they pulled a goal back through Prince Ibara a minute later.

Victory moves Liberia level on four points with Congo in Group G with two rounds of qualifiers remaining. Zimbabwe lead the way with eight points, followed by DR Congo on five.

Botswana 0 - 0 Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso were held to a 0-0 draw by Botswana in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group I match at the Francistown Sports Complex in the second city of Botswana, Francistown.

The draw saw the Zebras and Stallions remain fourth, and second respectively on the group standings.

Mauritania 1 - 0 Angola

Mauritania move top of Group I following a hard fought 1-0 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying win over Angola at the Stade Cheikha Ould Boïdiya in Nouakchott.

Abdoul Ba scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute to lead Mauritania to all three points, and ever closer to a first AFCON appearance.

Victory moves the hosts up to nine points, two points above Burkina Faso, Angola sit in third place with six points.

 Tanzania 2 - 0 Cape Verde

Tanzania kept their hopes of qualification to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations alive with a 2-0 win over Cape Verde in a Group L qualifying match at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar-es-Salaam on Tuesday.

Tanzania controlled the flow of play from the onset and should have taken the lead in the 23rd minute after the referee awarded them a penalty, but they failed to convert.

Luckily for the Tanzanians they were not made to pay for that miss when Saimon Msuva gave them the lead on the half hour mark after a clinical finish. And they were able to double their lead thanks to a goal from Mbwana Samata.

The result sees Tanzania move off the bottom of Group L into second place with five points while Cape Verde are third with four points.

Lesotho 0 - 2 Uganda
