Nigeria 4 - 0 Libya 

 Odion Ighalo's first international hat-trick and a maiden Nigeria goal for Samuel Kalu fired the Super Eagles to a 4-0 victory over Libya in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday.

The Changchun Yatai forward opened scoring from the spot in the fourth minute, doubling his tally in the 58th minute, before completing his hat-trick 11 minutes later.

Kalu added a fourth right at the death to seal a win which ensures Nigeria climb into second place in Group E, a point behind leaders South Africa.

South Africa 6 - 0 Seychelles

South Africa annihilated Seychelles 6-0 in Group E game at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

An own goal by the Seychelles defender Nigel Hoareau fired South Africa ahead before Thulani Hlatshwayo, Lebo Mothiba, Percy Tau, Dino Ndlovu and Teboho Mokoena completed the rout.

The South Africans top the group with seven points from three games.

Senegal 3 - 0 Sudan 

Senegal recorded a 3-0 win over Sudan in Group A match at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor in Dakar thanks to goals from Pape Abou Cisse, Idrissa Gana Gueye and Mbaye Niang.

With the win, the Lions of Teranga climbed to the top of the group table, while the Falcons of Jediane remained fourth on the standings.

Equatorial Guinea 0 - 1 Madagascar 

Madagascar recored a surprise 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea at the Estadio de Bata in Bata.

Veteran forward Faneva Andriatsima scored the only goal of the game for the Island nation who could book their ticket to Cameroon in the reverse fixture at the Vontovorona Stadium on Tuesday 

Victory moves the Islanders a step closer to a first ever AFCON appearance.

Barea, who stunned Sudan 3-1 in Al-Ubayyid before holding heavyweights Senegal to a 2-2 draw in Antananarivo, stay second in Group A.

Defeat leaves Nzalang Nacional on three points from their allotted matches, and in desperate need of a win next week to keep their Afcon hopes alive. 

Tunisia 1 - 0 Niger 

Despite being reduced to ten men, Tunisia maintained their 100 percent win record in Group J of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign after beating Niger 1-0 at the Stade Olympique de Radès thanks to a strike from Yassine Meriah.

The two countries will lock horns again next week Tuesday in another 2019 AFCON qualifier. 

Morocco 1 - 0 Comoros 

A injury time goal saw Morocco secure a slender 1-0 win over Comoros in Group B match at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca.

The first half ended goalless. The second half saw Morocco finished the stronger of the two teams and found the winning goal in the 97th minute courtesy of a penalty strike from Faycal Fajr.

The result sees Morocco register their second win and move up to second place in Group B, one point behind Cameroon, while Comoros are last with a point.

The two countries will lock horns again next week Tuesday in another 2019 AFCON qualifier.

Burkina Faso 3 - 0 Botswana 

Burkina Faso thrashed Botswana 3-0 in Group I match at the Stade du 4 Août in Ouagadougou thanks to goals from Jonathan Pitroipa, Banou Diawara and Abdou Razack Traore.

The win took the Stallions to second place on the group standings, while the Zebras remained fourth on the table.

DR Congo 1 - 2 Zimbabwe 

Ten-man Zimbabwe took firm control of Group G with a 2-1 win over the Democratic Republic of Congo at the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa.

The hosts dominated proceedings from start to finish, but the Warriors took their opportunities and defended with great determination throughout, to ultimately claim all three points and remain unbeaten after three rounds of fixtures.

Ronald Pfumbidzai opened the scoring for the visitors, and Knowledge Musona doubled the Warriors lead in the 69th minute before receiving his marching orders.

The Zimbabwe captain sent for an early shower following a cynical challenge which resulted in a second yellow card, before Yannick Bolasie finally found the back of the net for Congo.

Mozambique 1 - 2 Namibia 

Namibia beat Mozambique 2-1 at the Estádio Nacional do Zimpeto in Maputo.

The home side opened the scoring in the 26th minute thanks to a strike from Edison Mexer, before Petrus Shitembi eqalised for Namibia in 69th minute and Dean Hotto gave them the winner in 93rd minute.

The win is Namibia's first in qualifying and sees all teams in Group K on four points.

The two countries will lock horns again next week Tuesday in another 2019 Afcon qualifier. 

Uganda 3 - 0 Lesotho

Emmanuel Okwi scored a brace, while Farouk Miya added from the penalty spot as they re-discovered their scoring touch as Uganda defeated Lesotho 3-0 to end coach Sebastien Desabre's nine-month wait for a first competitive win for the Cranes.

The win takes Uganda up to seven points and into top spot in Group L.

Cape Verde, who defeated Tanzania 3-0 on Friday, are second on four points with Lesotho (two points) and Tanzania (one) in third and fourth.
