Posted by UFC superstar Khabib Nurmagomedov has called out Floyd Mayweather following his victory over Conor McGregor, claiming:
Standing next to Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions and a long-term confidante of the retired boxer, Khabib said on Saturday night:
Khabib put in a dominant display against McGregor last Saturday, exercising his superior wrestling throughout the contest.
The lightweight champion also sent his rival to the mat with a powerful right hand before eventually securing a submission via rear-naked choke in the fourth round.
The event was marred, however, as Khabib proceeded to jump over the octagon and attack McGregor's team-mate Dillon Danis, sparking a mass brawl which saw McGregor attacked by three members of his camp.
The Nevada State Athletic Commissionhas temptorarliuly suspended both fighters with a vote to be held at the next NAC meeting next week to decide whether or not indefinite bans will be handed down.
Mayweather is currently enjoying a holiday in Athens, sharing a series of pictures of himself next to some of the city's famous monuments on Instagram.
The American officially retired after defeating McGregor in their money-spinning boxing match a year ago.
