Salah picked up a muscle injury during Egypt's 4-1 win over Swaziland in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, while Van Dijk is said to be nursing rib pain after the Netherlands' Nations League game against Germany.
Neither player was deemed fit enough by their respective country to take part in a second international fixture this week and so the pair were released to return to Liverpool.
But a report from a journalist on Twitter says that the players' injuries are not as serious as first thought and they will both be available for the game against Huddersfield this weekend.
It was earlier reported that each of the players will be monitored this week, before manager Jurgen Klopp assembles his squad for the trip to the Terriers on Saturday. But with this latest update, Liverpool fans will have nothing to worry about.
