Posted by Luke Shaw has committed his future to Manchester United by signing a new a new five-year deal at Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old was set to become a free agent next summer but the defender has now penned a deal which is believed to be worth a reported £150,000 (N72.9m) per-week.
United hope to have the former Southampton ace back for their trip to Chelsea at the weekend following his recent layoff with an ankle injury.
Luke Shaw said after he extended his deal at Man United:
Shaw's progress has been disrupted by poor form and fitness issues, limiting him to only 75 appearances.
Recent performances earned Shaw - who joined United from Southampton for £27m (N12.9bn) in 2014 - an international recall.
Manchester United have also held discussions with goalkeeper David de Gea and Anthony Martial, who have options of a further year that could be triggered on their current deals.
