The Serbia International came close to joining AC Milan last summer when the Rossoneri made a €30million (N10.9billion) loan offer to Lazio including an option to buy set to €90 million (N37billion).
AC Milan put their offer on the table in the night between the 16th and the 17th of August and Lotito didn’t have enough time to sign a valuable replacement.
In addition to that, the pressure of Simone Inzaghi and the – at the time – Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta convinced Lotito to retain the talented midfielder.
Milinkovic-Savic has now signed a new contract with Lazio but he is not going through the best moment of his career.
His price-tag has decreased and according to Il Corriere della Sera, Inter, Juve and AC Milan will try to sign him in the summer.
