Posted by Three midfielders who were the finest in the world at their prime, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf and Patrick Vieira were reunited as the now-Nice coach invited the former Milan midfielders to attend training.
Having arrived at Nice from New Yorkl City where he thrived in the MLS, Patrick Vieira has not found it as easy to get results in his native French league.
Since the 1998 World Cup arrived on the French riviera, he has only managed four wins from his 11 matches in charge of the side, as they sit 10th in the Ligue 1 table.
Perhaps to try and provide some inspiration for the players now under his charge, the coach invited two legends of the modern game to watch him at work ahead of their attendance at the Goldenfoot ceremony.
Andrea Pirlo and Clarence Seedorf won two Champions League titles together while at Milan, and came up against Vieira during his time at Juventus and Inter.
With their rivalries now far behind them, the Nice coach handed the two former players shirts and gave them an insight in to training, as he looks to turn the side's season around next time out against Auxerre.
