Although the veracity of the claims that such stolen undies are used for ritual purposes has not been established, such reports have instilled fear into the hearts of ladies especially this festive period. And in the ensuing panic, many ladies of devise in ways of safeguarding themselves against danger. It was learnt that the underwear of girls and women, particularly of ages between 14 and 35, are allegedly considered as ‘hot cakes’ for use by the ritualists.
Used pants, according to some students in campus of the Delta State University, sells for as much as N350,000, with some adding that the price can be higher if it is confirmed to have body fluids. In the midst of this palaver, a social media user raised alarm that her house help of 3 months was found with stolen panties. Read what she said below.
“Good morning. Our maid of 3 months was going back to the ast today. My uncle’s wife said she has been having this feeling to search her bag for the past two days now. Early this morning, before the maid left for the east, she decided to search her bags. Behold, she found so many things amongst them 2 phones, 1 tablet, gold earrings worth 250K, perfumes, clothes and the most disturbing one is our used PANTS. God!!!!”
