I have decided to go into publishing after so many considerations.
Below is the synopsis of my book I titled 'THE KING'S CROWN." I wrote this book before my university graduation in 2011 after reading "The Gods Are Not To Blame by Ola Rotimi and I wrote it under 24 hours.
THE KING'S CROWN is just one out of fifty books I have written, but due to fear of "rejection," and fear of "the UNKNOWN," I refused to push any of the book forward.
There's no day that passes by without me writing one play or the other. And as someone who never studied Literature while in school and can't even defined the use of English Language, I always see myself doing better in my books than in reality. Whenever I pick up a pen and book to write whatever my head is telling me, I write as if I studied English and Literature but when I'm done writing, you won't believe I wrote the book. Funny enough, I write everything writable including Biblical things. I am the chief author of my Church's Sunday School Manual but I specifies more on play and script writing.
I've known since the year 2009 that writing is my calling but because I see myself not good in English, I was afraid of pushing forward but after going through some personal counselling, I have decided to push forward at all cost.
Now back to 'THE KING'S CROWN." Below is the synopsis:
THE KING'S CROWN is a fictional play that talks about PRINCESS ADAEZE whose mother QUEEN EBERE was taken away by nature during child birth. After the death of the queen, KING EBUBE married QUEEN IFEOMA who later gave birth to PRINCESS ADAKU.
Growing up was tough for princess Adaeze because she was never liked by her stepmother and half-sister.
The rivalry between the three lady royals in AKABO village intensified when KING FESTUS, a great and powerful ruler of ATTA village, suggests PRINCE UZO his son makes a wife out of one of the Princesses.
The two princesses of Akabo moved in to stay at the Atta Royal Palace. And as days go by, princess Adaeze found favour in the sight of the Atta royal family. However, life turns sour for her when queen Ifeoma and princess Adaku accused her of stealing the crown of king Festus and a death penalty awaits the young Princess.
Will the love of her father king Ebube and that of prince Uzo save her?
