Posted by Jose Mourinho's departure from Manchester United on Tuesday morning may have been an early birthday surprise for Alexis Sanchez, who turned 30 years old on Wednesday.
The winger was pictured at home with family and friends as he celebrated the special event in his homeland of Chile.
Sanchez looked to be in good spirits as he relaxed in his garden wearing a t-shirt and some shorts while continuing to recover from a hamstring injury.
The forward was given well wishes by a friend as he posed for a photo. The friend said:
The former Arsenal superstar has been at home in Chile for a short while now after picking up a hamstring injury during training at the end of November, ruling him out for up to six weeks.
It would mean missing 10 games for United until he is predicted to return in mid January.
But the news of Mourinho's departure could be music to Sanchez's ears who struggled to shine during the year he's been at Old Trafford.
