Posted by Former Nigeria U17 forward Aliyu Ibrahim popularly known as Aliyu Bravo scored the winner for the Nigeria U20 team to hand them a 1-0 win over Plateau United as part of their preparations for the Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
16 year old Bravo was invited to the U20s by coach Paul Aigbogun to beef up his attack and the forward proved his goal scoring prowess isn’t just with the U17s with a well taken goal against Nigeria Professional Football League side Plateau United.
In a game where most of the regulars of the Nigeria U20 team were rested they still put a display that proved their strength in depth particularly in defence where they dominated the forward players of the former NPFL champions.
The game is one of the several friendly games lined up by the technical crew of the team ahead of their campaign at next month Africa U20 Cup of Nations which will take place in Niger Republic from February 24, 2019 to March 10, 2019.
