There are plenty of players who have won a variety of trophies in their career. Not many have been awarded a Guinness World Record though. Even fewer players have been awarded TWO of them.
Cesc Fabregas has now achieved just that. The Spaniard has had a long and successful career already and at thirty-one, he has now been officially given a second World Record by Guinness this week.
It all started with his first record, which he got for "The most volley passes in 30 seconds by a pair" with 15 successful passes," working with Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher on Sky's 'A League of Their Own' in 2017.
Now, he's got his second award for being the fastest player to reach 100 assists in English Premier League history.
The actual assist came in December 2016, in Fabregas's 293rd match in the league. It was a pass to set up Willian for a 4-2 goal against Stoke City.
It took the Spaniard 74 fewer matches to reach the 100-mark than the previous record holder Ryan Giggs.
