Posted by News broke out on Wednesday night that the deal for Fulham FC owner Shahid Kahn to buy England's Wembley Stadium is no longer on the table.
And according to reports from Europe, reason for the failure of the deal was Kahn's decision to withdraw his offer.
The English FA have also confirmed that the home of English football, Wembley Stadium, will not be sold to American businessman Shahid Khan.
The FA statement published on their official website on Wednesday said:
Gary Neville was one of many vocal critics of the Kahn's proposal to buy the stadium, opened in 2007.
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel levy also vocalised his opposition to sell the club's temporary home to Shahid Khan earier this week, as he is against the notion of selling the national stadium to a rival for both the NFL, and other major football events.
Khan was trying to buy Wembley from the football association for a fee believed to be in the region of £600million (N286trillion), and views the venue as a possible home for a London-based NFL franchise.

"Shahid Khan has informed us today that he will be withdrawing his offer to buy the stadium – and we fully respect his decision.It is believed that the government were the proposed sale of the stadium, however Khan feels like he does not have the backing within the game to go through with the deal.
"Mr Khan believed that his offer to buy Wembley Stadium would release funds to help improve community football facilities in England and that it would be well received by all football stakeholders.
"At a recent meeting with Mr Khan he expressed to us that, without stronger support from within the game, his offer is being seen as more divisive than it was anticipated to be and has decided to withdraw his proposal."
