"Florentino Perez never looked at me in any way other than as part of a business relationship.Ronaldo was also keen to stress that his move to Italy was not financially motivated and explained why footballing reasons convinced him that Juventus were the best fit.
"The things he told me, he never said from the heart. "I achieved many good things at Real Madrid and had many incredible moments with very valuable teammates that I will always remember.
"I will also always remember the fans, but I think that after nine years there it was time for a change and time to move clubs.
"I felt inside the club, especially from the president, that they no longer considered me the same way that they did in the start.
"The president looked at me as if I was no longer indispensable to them."
"If it had all been about money, I'd have moved to China, where I would have earned five times as much as here or at Real Madrid," continued the former Manchester United man.
