Posted by According to a recent report by Football Italia, Arsenal had sent scouts to catch Cengiz Under in action for AS Roma against Inter Milan, but it could take a fee in the region of €50m (N20.6bn) to prise him away from the Stadio Olimpico.
The 21-year-old has already made some telling contributions for his team during this season, but his strike on Sunday was arguably his most important performance yet as Roma went on to claim a hard-fought point from that encounter.
However, with the Italian giants currently languishing in the 7th spot of the Serie A standings, there is a realistic possibility that they could miss out on UEFA Champions League football in the following campaign which could be detrimental to Eusebio Di Francesco’s hopes of keeping hold of his star players.
