Posted by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has told the board that Paul Pogba is a lost cause, it has been claimed.
The Independent says he relationship between Mourinho and the Frenchman has been the source of speculation for some time after Pogba was stripped of the vice-captaincy.
Things were said to have improved recently although it was reported this week that Mourinho had branded Pogba a "virus" in front of his teammates after the 2-2 draw with Southampton.
Pogba has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford with Barcelona and former club Juventus both interested.
And now Mourinho is said to have told the United board that he is now left with no more options.
The manager is "at a loss" as to how to deal with the £89m midfielder.
And Mourinho even texted club officials to tell them he has tried everything with Pogba to try and get the best out of him, to no avail.
